Power – First step burst, explosive leaping
Strength – Create positioning, rebounding, get the loose ball
Core/Mid-line Stability – Basketball demands core to extremity movement, a strong mid-line transmits force effectively, resulting in increased speed, power, and leaping ability
Conditioning – Mimic game demands, mental toughness, competition, be strong/explosive in the 4th
Multi-directional quicks/Agility - Quick Feet, beat defenders, maintain defensive position, accelerate/decelerate
Bio-mechanics – Move efficiently, drop the hips to defend, strong joint positioning to reduce likelihood of injury
Flexibility – Move efficiently, reduce injury, don’t drive a Ferrari with the parking brake on

Summer classes are smaller than our school year programmed classes. Class size is limited allowing for more extensive work on each athlete’s weaknesses. Summer training is located at CrossFit BOLT, our location/equipment coupled with smaller class sizes allows for a more specific training protocol.
