Ashley Minton

Ashley Minton knew from a young age that she loved working with kids.  She led various  children’s activities growing up and summer camps for kids during college.  Ashley earned both her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and her M.S.Ed. in Educational Psychology from Baylor University.  She has taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Town Center Elementary in Coppell for 4 years.  Ashley was drawn to CrossFit as a result of her passion for health and fitness and her desire to find something fun and challenging.  She enjoys being part of the CrossFit BOLT community, and she is excited about the addition of a program for kids.  Ashley is looking forward to seeingkids grow and learn that fitness can be fun!

Karen Lever

Karen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson University with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education.  She was an elementary school teacher in Coppell ISD, teaching 2nd and 4th grade.  Karen is currently the Director of Children’s Education at Hackberry Creek Church and has also been a volunteer youth leader for middle school and high school students for the past 6 years.

She is excited to teach kids the importance of physical fitness in a fun and supportive environment.  Looking back, she wishes she had had the opportunity to participate in a program like BOLT kids and feels this would have greatly enhanced her overall athletic performance in organized sports.  Team work, humility and encouragement are at the heart of BOLT kids which are important values for every child to learn.
